Today I learned about:
1. How to get podcasts
2. How to find podcasts
3. How to use audacity

The 2 questions I have are:
1. What ways can I use this in my classroom?
2. How can I get students to use this information in my classroom?

The thing I would like to know more about is:
1. How to create podcasts in a quick manner that will be a time consuming project for me.

Today I learned:
ALWAYS have a backup plan -- technology is not 100% reliable; podcasts are a good strategy for reaching auditory learners; and many elementary students are producing podcasts.

I still wonder: how do I find time to search for valuable & effective podcasts? do my students have the necessary background to produce podcasts?

I would like to learn more about producing pod and/or video casts with students

I learned how to use audacity, how to create my own podcast, and how to find podcasts that will work in my classroom.
I am still struggling with how to use audacity and to get more out of it and more efficiently searching for appropriate podcasts.
I would like to learn more about planning podcasts.

I learned to build on the knowledge I already had about audacity.
I learned there is a great deal of information on podcasts, and that much of it is FREE!!
I learned that podcasts are actually not hard to create and that it is applicable to the classroom, as far as having students creating it, too.
Is there an easy way to find royalty free music above and beyond what we were showed today?
How difficult is it to add photos to podcasts?
I want to know if podcasts can be integrated with programs such as Pinnacle to create a sound/video project.

I learned how to work with audacity better. I had taken a class on it before, but the class used all
Apple Mac stuff and we had problems when trying to do this with windows. I learned where to find some really cool podcasts and I'm going to try to get this going on my computer at home tonight. How do you make a blog that students can access? How do you find blogs?I need more practice with putting music in Audacity, but I think I can do this.

Learned:
1. Itunes aren't just for downloading music for a fee!
2. This is a different way to use technology in the classroom with kids.
3. The little orange box will indicates a symbol that can be used to link to podcasting.

Want to learn:
1. More really good sites for teachers.
2. More useages on blogs.

Questions:
Where and how do you even begin to introduce using and creating podcasting with students.
