I learned how a blog works, how it would be useful for a book study, and how parents can interact. I would link to know how to have to capability to play a podcast from my computer to the t.v. I would also like to know how do have my kids create their own mini podcasts. More about blogs. I think I would use this more if I knew or had more time to work with them.
I learned how to use audacity which will be great for putting together a presentation for my class instead of them listening to me lecture. I love the ipod stuff - podcasting and have some great ideas for having the students use this. I also got some ideas for moviemaking - thanks Lauren.
The only question I have is, how can I find the time to plan and prepare all of this for my students?
I can't wait to learn about a wikki tomorrow.
Today I learned how to use Audacity, which I enjoyed! I also learned about podcasts and how to download podcasts on iTunes (and other locations). I still would like to know how to put music and other sound effects behind spoken words on Audacity. I would like to know how to do my own podcast now that I have looked at examples.
I learned what a podcast is and how to create one and find them on the web. I want to know how to find good ones without spending hours surfing. I would like to learn more about how teachers use them in their lessons.
